Run by two excellent restaurateurs, Mathew & Carol, Finca Listonero is a little haven cluttered with curiosities and trinkets. The building is a converted 300-year-old farmhouse, which adds to the already overwhelming character of the place. The views over the Sierra Cabrera mountains above Mojacar and the natural reserve that surrounds the property are stunning and can be seen from certain rooms in the house and from the pool/garden area.
Both the energetic, and the not so, will find plenty to do: with three golf courses in close proximity this is a putter's paradise. However there is also riding, walking, four-wheel drive off-road tours and the beautiful beach at Mojacar is only 20 minutes away.
The food cooked by Mathew & Carol is ambitious, delicious and complemented by an interesting wine list.
All this makes Finca Listonero one of the premium venues in the surrounding area of Cabrera.
